• Question: Why have we not colonised the moon yet?

      I’m not an expert at all but I would guess that it’s because it’s just not a hospitable place to try and live. The lack of oxygen, water, fertile soil, light, and the cold temperatures all make it unappealing. I think if we as humans were to go to the massive expense and trouble of colonising another planet or moon, it would be somewhere where the odds were not quite so stacked against us.

      I think it mainly comes down to cost and the current risk of space travel – but there are more people working on trips into space so maybe in our lifetime we will colonise another place not on earth

      Lot of money and not worth it? I’m not fussed about going there on holiday, doesn’t seem very warm.
