• Question: Which scientist out of everyone would win in a fight?

      Out of us here, I’d like to think me as I fight with daggers and swords as part of a martial arts group 🙂

      I wouldn’t much use in a fight myself…but I could write some code to program a robot to do my fighting for me 🙂

      Well my super powers of science include a capacity for long and tedious analysis and talking for ages.
      So, er… I might be able to bore the rest to death.
      Otherwise I suspect I wouldn’t have much hope!

      Depends on the medium of the fight – if we talking via a computer game id stand a good chance… in real life i think i would try and avoid Joey and her daggers and swords! 🙂

      I was Northampton’s Strongest Woman 2016 so I could definitely win at an arm wrestle…or maybe just pick the others up and throw them into the loser pile 😉

      Really though, I’m not competitive, unless it’s an eating contest!

      I’ve had to learn self-defence techniques to be able to go into prison and conduct my research, so I don’t know about winning the fight, but I could probably keep myself safe for at least a little while!

      Depends on whether it’s a physical fight or a science fight 😉 In a physical fight, although I keep active my cycling and swimming it sounds like many of the other wonderful scientist here are much more physical so I don’t think I would win. However in a science fight I think I might do better 🙂 most areas of research need maths to help aid understanding and make new discoveries!

      I think I’d end up being torn to shreds among this group! However, if it is a 1v1 in LoL, I’d definitely have the upper hand!!!
