I think what I love is that there is no right or wrong answer in science… every new discovery is always a step forward, even when in a completely unexpected direction!

Oh yes, what Laurent said above. Also, when you’ve come up with a theory and you run some experimets to test that idea and you turn out to be right – that’s a good day!

hands on science in the lab! being the first to show something and then being able to tell people about it
