      I love being able to research what I want to, and feeling like I am working towards something meaningful that can inspire change.

      I get to choose how I spend my time in the lab – obviously I have to be working but I can choose what experiments to do. I like the independence and also that you have to problem solve when things don’t go as well as they could.

      I love to travel to different places around the world for conferences and to collect samples. I also really enjoy that science is international and I get to work with people from other countries.
