Thanks for the question 🙂 Phantom noises can be anything that a person hears that isn’t really happening in the outside world. These are usually simple sounds like whistling or simple tones, but some people can have more complex sounds like rushing and white noise – maybe a combination of all of these things! I’m not sure if anyone has ever tried to count them all though. It would be a very difficult thing to do as so many people report having tinnitus (phantom noises) at some stage in their life (about 1 in 10)!
