Question: does oxygen exist?

Hey oxygenexists! Why yes oxygen exists 🙂 It is the second most abundant gas in our atmosphere (after nitrogen). We wouldn’t exist without it as we breathe in the oxygen from the air which gives us energy. Red blood cells carry oxygen to our cells where it undergoes a chemical reaction (known as respiration) with glucose (sugar) to release energy. Divers and Firefighters need tanks of oxygen to allow them to breathe underwater or in burning buildings. Its also worth noting that oxygen is needed in order for things to burn!
