      Hi Wixie,

I am pretty sure that we will be able to clone living organisms in the future as we have already been doing it for the past 22 years for the mammals 🙂 Mammals are a group of animals sharing the same features (like backbones and hair), which includes humans.

Have you ever heard of Dolly? Dolly is a sheep and is the first mammal cloned. It was in 1996. Since then pretty much all large animals have been cloned successfully including the monkey this year.

We would be able to do it with humans as well but it raises serious ethical concern. Ethic is an area that deals with ideas about what is good and bad behaviour.

What do you think? Should we try to clone humans? Is it a good idea and why would we do that?
