Question: Do the prisoners get upset when you leave? What about when the programme ends?

My contact with prisoners only happens in a research capacity, so I am not there to provide them support (though some people find it helpful to talk to me about their thoughts and behaviours). Because we explain clearly to prisoners that our main focus is not to give them support people don’t tend to get too upset when we finish our work with them.
