To me ‘science’ is a really broad term that loosely describes hundreds of different topics. As I am a biologist I tend to think of those that are biological in nature like genetics or microbiology but there are equally as many that have roots in physics or chemistry. I suppose ‘science’ covers any action that explores through experimentation.

Studying at Imperial College helped me to explore a bit beyond my little corner of science – it is a university that specialises in science and offer loads of chances to mix up different sciences and also to mix science with other subjects. As an example, you can study scientific communications or the law behind scientific discoveries.
