The best subject is one that you enjoy and helps you to get going with the career that you want to develop. Pick something that you are interested in and that you can see yourself doing every day when you get older 🙂

Like Liza has said, it is what you enjoy the most. It’s a very personal thing.
However, it can help a lot if you’ve got good teachers and lecturers. They make a HUGE difference to how you learn and enjoy the content.

In my case I was really interested in immunology and the associated diseases at university. But a lot of people hated it because it was confusing, complex and doesn’t make sense sometimes. Despite that, I still enjoy it!

Liza is spot on! I could tell you which subject I think is the best but there is no point going to do something you are not excited about. Enjoying what you’re learning makes a huge difference. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t decided what you want to do in 10 years time, or if you decide you want to change your mind half way though. Do something that you enjoy and that you are good at as that will help you get a good degree which will help you get a good job in the end.

As my colleagues have said, the best subject will be the one you enjoy and will be useful for any future you want to follow. I loved Psychology and followed that route, but other people really don’t find it interesting, so it is whatever you like/want to do!
