There are lots of great things about being a scientist. One of the things I enjoy the most is I get to travel all over the world to go to conferences or to visit other scientists. I’ve been able to visit lots of European countries and worked in Paris for a bit. The furthest I’ve ever been was to Brazil which was really exciting.

Always working on something new and different is definitely a great part of my job, which includes getting to work with new and interesting people – sometimes this also allows me to travel to collaborate and share my research at conferences and events as well

I love talking with people, like yourselves, about science! I love going to conferences, seeing different people’s work and chatting to them about research. That is why I am really loving this MRC Festival, it is a great opportunity for you and for us to talk, question and reflect.

For me, the best part about my job is making new discoveries which hopefully will one day help somebody in the future 🙂
