Question: If someone managed to cause a paradox, how much damage would it do to the universe?

A paradox is, typically, a statement that cannot be true. So if, as far as we are aware, something can’t exist, then we cannot predict what it would do. There are lots of different types of paradoxical scenarios, often in sci-fi they talk about temporal (time) paradoxes, which may be what you are thinking of, but at the moment, they within the realms of fiction, rather than science 🙂
