      As the sun formed, all the dust in space around it started orbiting it (spinning around it), the tiny amounts of gravity around each of the particles of dust made them clump up, with the heaviest clumps in the middle. This rocky core (which forms our metalic core to this day) started attracting more and more light particles forming the outer layers of our planet, and after millions of years, you get a big round ball that we call Earth 🙂

      This was only really a theory until they tested it after sending astronauts into space where they would put particles like salt into a bag, mix it round, and eventually the salt always forms clumps. Here’s a YouTube video that may help explain this 🙂
