• Question: Hi. I would like to know 3 thinks if possible. 1- What is a black hole made of. 2- How does a black hole work. 3- What is at the bottom of a black hole. I thaught you were the best person to ask because you study the universe. Thank you :-)

I am not an expert on it, but I can try… =)
Even if we don’t have a clear answer, black holes seem to be mainly made of pressed matter.
A black hole is a region in space where the gravity is so strong that light and matter are not able to escape (there is no proper bottom, it is more like an entire region of space with weird properties!). Such strong gravity occurs because matter has been pressed into a tiny space. This compression can take place at the end of a star’s life. However, our Sun does not have enough mass to collapse into a black hole.
Because no light can escape, black holes are invisible. However, space telescopes can observe the behaviour of material and stars that are very close to black holes.
      Hope it is clear =)
