      Hi Kirstymccolm20

Yes, I am really lucky to have little bits of lung tissue that has come from human volunteers. These people are helping me to find out what wood smoke does to the lungs. I will be using a technique called sequencing which will tell me which genes are active in the samples. From this I can see how the smoke affects how cells behave in the lungs after we breathe wood smoke.
