• Question: Do sea creatures (dolphins, whales) see as well outside the water as inside?

      That’s a really interesting question! Whales and dolphins are mammals so somewhere back in their evolution they would have been land creatures that then returned to the sea and evolved into the animals they are today. So perhaps their eye sight is just as good because their ancestors lived on land in the past? Of maybe they lost that ability when they evolved to see underwater? I might check this out a bit more because it’s so fascinating!

      Never thought about it before, I know dolphins use sonar rather than just their eye sight to direct themselves under water – so not sure if this works as well out of the water – made me want to go do some research in to this to find the answer
