I don’t think ghosts exist as I have never seen any good evidence that they do! I think people ‘live on’ in within memories of other people.

I think this is interesting. I do not believe in ghosts having a physical form, because there is no robust evidence that this is possible. However, people do live on in the memories of others, and this could be the reason so many people say they have seen ghosts of loved ones.

There is a whole branch of Psychology named parapsychology which aims to objectively, scientifically assess what is happening when people report paranormal experiences. However, this field is generally criticised quite heavily – and many believe it to be a ‘pseudoscience’ or ‘fake’ science. This video below gives some more details of how people have tried to use science to ‘prove’ the existence of paranormal activity.

      Here’s a link – https://www.sciencealert.com/a-physicist-just-explained-why-the-large-hadron-collider-disproves-the-existence-of-ghosts

TLDR: Ghosts would break the second law of thermodynamics, so no they can’t exist.

There was an article published in ‘The conversation’ (a really good website for reference) a few days ago that looks at sleep disorders as a reason some people believe in paranormal activity. You should have a read:

I do not think ghosts exist, simply because there isn’t any robust evidence. One of the key clues to something being a pseudoscience (i.e. not real science but pretends it is) is when people say ‘oh I know x who witnessed y’, or ‘I experienced x and that must mean it is true/works’ whereas people with robust evidence weigh up the possibilities, try to work out what other explanations are at hand, and try to create an experiment around this. Then, this experiment is used as a reference, not just someone’s (biased – as we are all biased) opinions. Good science tries to take the bias out of research, and all ‘research’ towards the existence of ghosts is heavily biased. Although, if I did die and come back as a ghost, I would definitely play tricks on my brother!
